Content Designer

We’re supporting a growing digital consultancy to hire a Content Designer to work across public and private sector transformation programmes, championing user-centred content and inclusive design.
This is a highly collaborative, delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who is passionate about plain English, accessibility, and designing content that meets real user needs across complex digital services.
Role Highlights include:
  • Create, iterate, and deliver content that is accurate, inclusive, and user-centred
  • Engage with analytics and research data to shape content and user journeys
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary Agile teams across design, research, and development
  • Influence clients on best practice in inclusive content design, accessibility, and service standards
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles throughout the full delivery lifecycle
  • Work across varied projects in public and private sector, with flexible hybrid working options
What we are looking for:
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices
  • Experience designing content for digital services, ideally in Agile, cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with accessibility needs and inclusive design for diverse user groups
  • Experience applying GDS service standards and WCAG accessibility guidelines
  • Ability to write in plain English and simplify complex language or processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Eligible for SC clearance
