Building transformation capability for DrDoctor
The relationship began at a pivotal stage in the company’s growth, as the business continued scaling its digital patient engagement platform across NHS Trusts.
As DrDoctor expanded, there was a clear need to strengthen internal capability across strategy, operations and transformation, ensuring the organisation could maintain momentum while supporting an increasingly complex set of teams, products and client relationships.
Challenges they faced
DrDoctor was transitioning from a high-growth scale-up into a more operationally mature organisation. As the business evolved, leadership recognised the need to build dedicated transformation capability within the team to support the delivery of strategic priorities.
The brief was to hire a Transformation Analyst who could support high-impact, cross-functional change initiatives. The core challenge was creating internal capacity to drive structured transformation, rather than relying solely on senior leadership bandwidth.
This role would act as the analytical engine behind key initiatives, providing structure, insight and momentum across programmes of work while ensuring progress remained measurable and aligned to business priorities.

Through this partnership, Tarka Talent successfully placed two Transformation Analysts and two Transformation Managers within DrDoctor’s transformation team.
