Agile Delivery Lead

Senior Consultant Level:

With deep industry expertise and a collaborative approach, they deliver end-to-end services from strategy to implementation.

The role:

One of the fastest-growing teams in this business focuses on providing agile squads to design and launch digital products for their clients. They are looking for a Senior Consultant-level Delivery Lead to lead these multi-disciplinary Agile Scrum teams.

These teams help their clients understand how and why to use digital technologies and platforms, before then designing and delivering projects to implement these solutions. These roles will be part of end-to-end user centred design projects, working with cross-functional teams to deliver the digital transformation.

The Lead will need to:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, with teams ranging between 5 and 15
  • Help clients embrace Agile
  • Coach and line manage Graduates and Consultants
  • Be good at managing stakeholder relationships and communication
  • Get involved with internal work
  • Begin to get involved with Business Development activities, such as RFPs, proposals, extensions and renewals

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years’ experience in a relevant field
  • Experience leading an Agile Scrum team, doing end-to-end delivery
  • Ability to coach teams and individuals
  • Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards
  • Experience with JIRA, or similar
  • Experience in technical business analysis
  • Good stakeholder management
  • Ideally, experience in consulting across multiple sectors (although it is not a requirement to be from a consultancy)
  • Any certifications are a bonus eg Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, Scrum Master etc
