Our client is looking for an experienced transformation leader to take ownership of complex, outcomes-focused programmes across large organisations. You’ll join a growing environment where technology is only part of the answer: successful delivery depends on understanding the underlying problem, bringing different professional disciplines together and creating measurable change. You’ll work directly with senior client stakeholders, influence without formal authority and help shape a repeatable approach to major programmes. Travel is an important part of the role, with expenses covered, giving you the opportunity to work directly where change is happening.
The Associate Director, Programme Delivery will lead high-value programmes from initial definition through to measurable outcomes, combining hands-on delivery with the development of stronger organisational standards.
Role Highlights:
- Set programmes up for success through robust problem definition, solution design, governance and delivery planning
- Lead reviews across workstreams, challenging progress, evidence and barriers before issues become material
- Provide assurance at both workstream and programme level, identifying drift and taking corrective action
- Work with executive stakeholders to agree priorities, resolve challenges and confidently reset plans when required
- Build practical delivery frameworks and coach teams so capability remains embedded beyond individual programmes
You Will Need:
- Extensive experience delivering complex transformation or change programmes within large organisations
- Proven success in contingent or outcomes-based environments where commercial results depended on delivery
- Consultancy experience spanning implementation, transformation or specialist programme delivery
- Confidence working with executive stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority
- Experience developing delivery methodologies, coaching teams and recovering programmes that have fallen behind

The logistics:
My client offers a salary of £100,000–£120,000 + benefits, depending on experience, with prosperous company benefits. This role can be based in a range of their offices across the UK, with a flexible hybrid working pattern, with some travel to clients.
