I am working with a leading specialist consultancy that transforms environments for clients within health and life sciences. They deliver end-to-end projects for clients, from healthcare planning, business case development and delivery, to operational support. They also help organisations become more efficient and effective such as improving patient pathways for the NHS, developing new laboratories to facilitate world-leading science, or rationalising educational campuses to attract the highest calibre students and research investment.
The successful candidate will need to manage a range of new and existing clients and contracts and take responsibility for service delivery, strategy development and generating new business. The role will also include writing business cases and engaging in business development activity. It is expected that candidates have an in-depth knowledge of Project Management and Programme Management techniques and methodologies ideally with some construction experience and with a passion for delivering complex programmes in challenging environments.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ability to design and set up project and programme delivery organisations and governance arrangements.
- Monitor and report on programme/project progress and status.
- Manage and mitigate risks and issues threatening successful delivery on an initiative
- Lead or contribute to the development, management, and authorship of client’s business cases (to include Strategic Outline Cases, Outline Business Cases and Full Business Cases).
- Membership of a relevant chartered institute in the construction and/or project/programme management industry (e.g. RICS, CIBSE, APM Por MICE).
- Hold relevant qualifications e.g. APM PMQ; PMI PMP; NECPM accreditation; MSP.
- Achieved or working towards a relevant chartership, e.g., MRICs or ChPP.
