We’re supporting a highly respected boutique strategy consultancy as they expand their footprint in North America. Known for partnering with top-tier private equity and corporate clients, this firm delivers high-impact insights on M&A and growth strategy. Their Chicago office is a close-knit, high-performing hub with strong international ties and zero red tape

The Engagement Manager will lead complex client engagements from end to end, managing delivery teams, guiding strategy, and ensuring excellence at every touchpoint. This is a visible, commercial role, suited to experienced consultants who want to combine people leadership with analytical rigour and genuine client ownership.

The Engagement Manager will…

  • Own client relationships across commercial due diligence and growth strategy projects
  • Steer teams through challenging analysis and deliver impactful, concise insights
  • Support business development and contribute to pitch efforts and networking
  • Mentor and manage career paths for 2–3 junior colleagues
  • Shape firm culture through internal ops (e.g., training, IP development, recruitment)

You Will Need…

  • 6+ years’ experience, including experience in strategy consulting
  • Experience leading commercial due diligence projects
  • Experience as a Manager in a consulting setting
  • Experience engaging C-suite stakeholders in high-stakes discussions
  • Commercial acumen and a strategic, data-literate mindset
  • US work authorisation (visa sponsorship not available)
