Manager, Transformation Consulting

Our client is an ambitious management consultancy built around delivering meaningful, complex transformation rather than off-the-shelf solutions. As part of a global team, you’ll join a close-knit, collaborative and sociable New York office of 20 people, with ambitious plans to grow to 50 over the next 3 years. It’s a genuine opportunity to make your mark, help shape the culture and direction of the team, and play a visible role in the next stage of its growth.
You’ll join an environment where Managers have genuine influence: leading major client programmes, developing high-performing consulting teams and helping shape important commercial relationships. With transparent compensation, shared success through profit-related bonuses and opportunities to contribute beyond client delivery, this is a strong next move for an experienced consultant looking for broader leadership responsibility.
The Manager will lead complex transformation programmes from initial scoping through delivery, combining programme leadership, client advisory skills and people management to create measurable outcomes.

The role:

  • Scope and lead large-scale, complex transformation engagements
  • Manage blended consulting teams across client programmes
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing and new accounts
  • Shape internal capabilities, initiatives and team development

You will need:

  • Around 6+ year’s of recognised management consulting experience
  • Current or recent experience operating at Manager level
  • Strong end-to-end programme and project management expertise
  • Experience leading and developing teams of management consultants
  • Exposure to areas such as digital, data, customer experience, operating models, change management or transformation strategy
You’ll ideally bring the versatility to operate across multiple sectors and the commercial confidence to contribute to business development, including supporting prospective client conversations and identifying additional opportunities within established accounts.

Benefits:

  • $180,000 base salary with a transparent pay structure
  • Bi-annual company profit share linked to business performance
  • Additional personal performance bonus
  • Uncapped sales bonus available to all employees
  • Broad exposure to high-impact transformation programmes
  • Opportunity to influence key client relationships and account growth
  • Meaningful responsibility for coaching and developing consultants
  • Scope to shape internal capabilities and strategic initiatives

The logistics:

My client offers a base salary of $180,000 + biannual bonus + uncapped sales bonus, depending on experience, with comprehensive company benefits. This role includes a flexible hybrid working pattern. Candidates must already be authorised to work in the United States without requiring VISA sponsorship.
