ENSEK are a leading provider of digital transformation services and technology in the energy sector. Their disruptive technology and services offer a fully innovative platform for energy suppliers to succeed across the globe.
The company offers its services through its software-as-a-service platform that addresses the complexity of the industry and provides transparency and assurance controls, enabling organizations in the energy supply market to manage balance sheet risk and analyze customer-level gross margin while enhancing the client’s productivity and efficiency.
Founded in 2010, they have scaled rapidly and now employ around 450 people and last year were acquired by Centrica plc.
Our work with ENSEK
Early 2024 we initially spoke with Richard Freeman (Head of Professional Services) who had recently joined the company to head up their Professional Services/Consulting division.
ENSEK had limited in-house consulting capability and faced challenges attracting the required level of talent to their Nottingham head office. Their limited brand recognition in the market further compounded these difficulties, and without a centralised recruitment team, resourcing roles became even more challenging.
Roles we have placed so far
- Senior Project Manager (Manager/Senior Manager Level in Consulting)
- Project Manager (Consultant/Senior Consultant Level in Consulting)
- Project Coordinator (Associate Consultant/Consultant Level in Consulting)
Creating a strong partnership
We focused on building a strong partnership with the leadership team and hiring managers, fostering open and transparent communication about the market, including what was working and what wasn’t. With clear timelines in place, ENSEK were able to maximise their chances of success.
